Scott Webb, founder of The New York Wall Company™, known to customers simply as “The Wall”, realized an ever growing need for a non-permanent partition unlike any conceived before.
One that could be used against cement ceilings as well as sheet rock and plaster ceilings, and one that could accommodate most ceiling heights. A removable structure that could be customized to suit a New Yorker’s individual need for space. A unique non-permanent system that could be installed, and removed, quickly, efficiently and with no mess.
Once those original goals were accomplished, he continued with the introduction of such luxury options as sliding, stable and louvered windows, French doors, and the later addition of “The Sun Catcher Series”.
Mr. Webb was called an “urban hero” in the April 12, 1999 issue of New York Magazine, for a product that since 1994 has not only helped to improve the living conditions of so many, but has also addressed the stress and expense associated with living in New York City.
Our reputation is built into every wall we install.
